Based on the SuperCoupe which was given much praise at the 2005 SEMA Show, the Speedster version was released a year later at the same event. Like the Coupe, the Speedster features a radical body design that puts modern touches on the old 1969 Camaro design.
Most of the work has been carried out by Time Machines who recreated the body and 540 CID engine. Braking is supplied by Baer Claw Extreme-Plus brakes with forged six-piston Sport calipers and 14-inch cross-drilled rotors front and rear.
Automakers had long been placing convertible car tops into their automobile designs. Since the 1940’s convertibles have been a big hit with vehicle buyers who enjoyed a new feel of driving experience. Manufacturers developed the retractable tops followed by the power convertible tops that offered security in the continuously changing weather.
1969 Camaro SS Convertible is the best of the best in Camaro’s line. Its beautifully framed off body bears a power top that is fully lined and includes a heated glass rear window that allows an exciting driving experience. The vehicle rides on 17″ American racing wheels that ensure satisfying off-road performance. The Convertible Camaro possesses a 200-horsepower V6 engine and four-wheel disc antilock brakes.
